I recently purchased my first house, and decided to try and find a way to provide power to my shed. I could not see spending thousands of dollars to cut up my backyard, and have underground wiring run. Solar seemed the way to go. I would highly recommend going green on your backyard shed. It takes about $400 to do this.

(Please note: The inverter I used is currently generating 128w, and is capable of 400w, so you could possibly run a small fan as well. You will need to adjust the inverter size to your own requirements.)

Southern Cable Jumping

Hello again everyone. Just as an update I have added Sta-Bil fuel treatment to my lawn mower, and as such I had to run it for a while so the Sta-Bil would work correctly. I actually added the mixture to the tank about two weeks ago.

Charge Controller - Another successfully charged battery!

I was able to to get the mower started, and after letting it run for about ten minutes, I hooked it back up to let it charge some more.
