Everything was going great, only Los forgot to do her weight lifting before the event. Los could not turn the steering wheel because the tie rod connector was longer than the diameter of the steering wheel. Ken made the parts about 1:00am and the welders finished it the next morning.
Ken redesigned the steering system and added a single long shaft that the driver could move from the left to right. The welders were extremely helpful in making this last-minute change possible.
